With the stories we’re starting to hear about Rhule, it makes Frosts first 3 years of bitching about creating a culture seem silly.

Frost talked about culture constantly, hired “team building” military specialists, talked about recruiting guys that love football and then didn’t even have the culture to have a team just to play an extra game in a shortened season.

Rhule comes in and just implements a structure that requires a good culture in order to survive.

Gee, in hindsight that seems super obvious and simple.

Sharing what we were hearing from players, administration, boosters....... not only got the ire of the traditionalist fans who defended Frost relentlessly but also was defended by writers like $Dean. When we started dropping nuggets about the scam that was ABM he not only defended them on our posts but still promoted them with 1000% support.

Any negative info on the program we were told and then shared was met with being called names and attacked. I.e. My cousins were around a bit of Frost's partying, especially in Valentine and I shared that info. Was skewered not only by posters on Rivals but also by a few posters on tPB. Nothing like being called a Liar when you have first hand info from trusted sources.

Washington… pretty sure he had some public actions throwing shade at McGuire hire. Feel like he went around and liked a bunch of posts that were blasting that hire. This is purely from memory so could be completely wrong, but this is a message board and don’t feel obligated to fact check my memory. Regarding him as a player, I can’t think of a time he was able to get open without it being and out route on the same side of the field as Palmer when he was going deep. IGC was higher up the depth chart before he quit. I’m more than fine with us losing him. It also gives us reason to put n some of the younger athletes.

You're right - I do remember seeing him like some tweets bashing the McGuire hire.
