We also went for it on 4th down like 15 times. With typical Frost playcalling we probably would've had 7 or less.

I disagree, think it’s obvious we need to go in a different direction at QB. I’m in the get a QB from the portal and let him and Smothers compete camp. A fast blinker would be nice for a change.

Guess we will see next year , but give me a guy who doesn’t average 1.5 turnovers per game.

Overall, I don't think there's a QB as good as Martinez available. Plus a transfer is going to have to learn the offense and get comfortable in it. Whoever we get is going to be way behind in that regard (unless an OC brings a QB).

Same goes with A-Mart having to learn the new OC’s offense. Best for both sides to move on
