I don't follow the NBA but I do have a relative who was offered jobs with the Pacers and Blazers as an NBA Scout. When breaking down Zion's film he brought up a concern about how violent he jumped. Thought with the combination of his size and forceful take offs that he would be highly susceptible to continual knee, ankle and foot issues. Predicted a career that was either shortened due to injury or he would spend considerable time on the IR every season.

Similar to the Golf Analysts who commented early in his career about Tiger Wood's aggressive swing probably causing him back problems later in his career. And true enough that ended up happening.

It's definitely a concern, but nothing that can't be properly managed by a competent medical staff. There's a world where Steph Curry is a nothing in the nba because GS never figures out how to deal with his ankle rolling issues.

I don’t see him holding up in the long run either considering the way he plays. He definitely could prove me wrong, but I thought people comparing him to Lebron was the dumbest thing I read in that thread. He will never be in Lebron’s league.
