Sign Up Now!Tony White did not coach against them in the Bowl Game. He was already at Nebraska. Although I assume he had already helped gameplan before he left.Crazy that Minnesota literally just went up against our DC in their bowl game. While that certainly is an advantage for Minnesota, it also is an advantage for Tony White too. He had to plan and scheme for Minnesota just as much as they had to for him. There should be an equal level of familiarity.
his DB coach at Syracuse took over as DC for that bowl game and Minnesota hired him in the off season as co-DCTony White did not coach against them in the Bowl Game. He was already at Nebraska. Although I assume he had already helped gameplan before he left.
Your avatar is the perfect reaction to this. They hired the DB coach specifically for this Nebraska game...it's all coming together.his DB coach at Syracuse took over as DC for that bowl game and Minnesota hired him in the off season as co-DC
how the hell did Minnesota win this game by 8 points?
Good question.how the hell did Minnesota win this game by 8 points?

Who did they think they were playing against? Scott Frost? They scored one TD on a 70 yard Interception return, and then their last TD was set up by a 75 yard Kickoff return. Syracuse lost the game basically the exact same way Frost lost every single game in his career.
The Gophers had 1 first down and 49 total yards in the 2nd half... and WON.
They may end up with a top 5 record. But I’d take Clemson, LSU and Penn St vs Texas on a neutral field.I would bet Texas is not a top 5 team.
Chance to knock off a ranked team to start the Rhule era...
