I guess Anthony jones could be thrown in there. Horrible failure so far. Even with burburija, we needed more

It’s really really not good. They’re cheap depth players or unknowns bc of returning from injury/health issues. We needed to secure two interior DL studs and a stud DE at a minimum. Maybe the younger players will develop to B1G starter level but seems a big gamble based on past season.

No...I fully admit that this would suck and be considered a big loss.

But it's also interesting that people are more upset about losing him than they were excited that he committed.

Anthony Jones is not horrible and a waste of a roster spot lol. There is a reason why he has stayed in the Big Ten his entire career. Now, there is also a reason why he is a journeyman and has been to 5 schools in 5 years. I don't expect him to be Randy Gregory by any means. I think he is slightly worse, but on par with Dasan McCullough. So, as a depth piece, he is a quality get.

Without adding another EDGE, we need to hope that McGahee takes that step forward now and is able to be that guy for us.

Yeah not that Mcccollough should be the high bar for a pass rusher but Jones was basically as effective at generating sacks
