I think it makes the most sense that Ek wants more responsibility on the defensive side of the ball. We'll know the answer to that when his position is announced by USC.
I don't think Rhule joking about Ek being a psycho and staying away from him on the sideline is a reliable data point regarding their ability to work with one another. Not interested in playing board psychologist.
Ek getting antsy and wanting to move around is weird to me but could be his MO, him seeing that this staff isn't staying in Nebraska long might make sense but Rhule isn't gone after '26. Money seemingly isn't the driving factor.
