I don't think anyone has a single issue with people being critical.

What people are getting sick of is every single thread turning into a discussion about when we fire Rhule.

"PITT DL COMMITS" thread goes "doesn't matter, Rhule sucks." That's not criticism - that's whiny bitching. Criticize all you want, just don't be a broken fucking record in every single thread to the point where what would normally be our best threads are being locked so it doesn't devolve to kindergarten level complaining. (this is not directed at you as much of it is just an explanation of where I think a lot of the "shut up already" crowd is coming from)

I am very sick of a need to even lock threads in the first place. This whole place was built on the idea that we can disagree and be adults and not be filled with group think. Now we have to lock discussion because people are incessant bitches.
