There are no visitors expected in Lincoln on Wednesday as Matt Rhule’s coaching staff resets and strategizes about which players in the next wave they plan to target. The defensive line and running back positions both still appear to be portal needs for the Huskers.

Come on man - you are doing some serious mental gymnastics to fit your narrative.

- Both Ty and Nash were shells of the players the ended up being before Rhule, but he gets no credit for that? Why were we so concerned with the DL in 2023 of they were always going to be good, regardless of Rhule's impact.
- You think Jeudy regressed under Rhule?!? He was nothing at A&M and ended up being serviceable for us this past year. He wasn't was he needed, but he definitely progressed.
- Keona and RVP didn't regress either. They were just given more meaningful snaps, while only being RS freshman. Outside of Jeudy, everyone on this DL was green.
- How exactly did Rhule mismanage Princewell and McGahee?

Davis and RVP just weren’t physically ready for the ask. That’s got next to nothing to do with the staff and mostly a function of time and maturity. You can shorten that curve a bit with great ‘nutrition and weight training’, but Robinson wasn’t the Robinson we saw last year when he was in year two. I don’t get how folks don’t understand that.

Have you not heard of MEHki Nelson and receiver turned RB Mozee? Mozee gun mosey on down to the end zone next year, partner. Then there's white kid, Rhule's son, and future all-conference RB Kwintin Ives. Ives got a good feeling about that room.
