I try not to be too critical of players. "At least serviceable" means he is a borderline player.Agree with most of this, other than how I’d rate Jeudy’s snaps/time on the field.
You’re right in that we got more playing time out of him than A&M did or likely would have, but I’d say he was OK 25% of the time, neutral 50% of the time and an absolute blocking sled the other 25% of his snaps.
Watch this. Colandrea had some Great throws (yes I know it's against UCLA). Anthony Jones sack around 5 minute mark
Who knows its validity and it was take down…but Syracuse? My how the mighty may have fallen.

LOL…maybe. I get it. I’m usually pretty good at sifting through the BS. This is what happens when I’m sitting on a forecasting call trying to find out the latest…and give a forecast at the same time. 🤪Is this fake post going to get posted every day? Not picking on you or saying you should know it has been discussed already. I am just complaining these things never go away.
Come on man - you are doing some serious mental gymnastics to fit your narrative. How much part of developing Ty and Nash did he actually have? Nash also got worse after Rhule let him wrestle. Ty was always going to be good was just a matter of time IMO, I’d also argue Lendhardt, RVP, Jeudy and Keona Davis all regressed after a year or more in his system, granted it could have been them just being played out of position and or a clueless DC. He’s also always had a pretty good DL coach at his side I believe.
Add in the mismanagement of Princewill and Mcgahee and the amount of misses in evaluation with portal adds and start to question if he’s still got it on the DL portion.
the reason this one work is that it sounds like something that COULD be true, even if it would be a surprise.LOL…maybe. I get it. I’m usually pretty good at sifting through the BS. Yeah, I think the fatal flaw last year was not getting 2 additional ready-made starters for DL in the portal (easier said than done admittedly) to give Davis and RVP more time to develop. But I don’t think the development per se has been bad. DL is just a place where you really can’t rely on youth and expect to perform at a high level.Come on man - you are doing some serious mental gymnastics to fit your narrative.
- Both Ty and Nash were shells of the players the ended up being before Rhule, but he gets no credit for that? Why were we so concerned with the DL in 2023 of they were always going to be good, regardless of Rhule's impact.
- You think Jeudy regressed under Rhule?!? He was nothing at A&M and ended up being serviceable for us this past year. He wasn't was he needed, but he definitely progressed.
- Keona and RVP didn't regress either. They were just given more meaningful snaps, while only being RS freshman. Outside of Jeudy, everyone on this DL was green.
- How exactly did Rhule mismanage Princewell and McGahee?
Who knows its validity and it was take down…but Syracuse? My how the mighty may have fallen.

Sad accounes matada noisesKind of a dud of a day so far, eh? Yesterday seemed to be pretty constant.
We've already taken more transfers than we were allowed and are laying low hoping the feds don't notice.Kind of a dud of a day so far, eh? Yesterday seemed to be pretty constant.
This is bordering on the 1620 guys schtick of "it's not your story to tell" whininess. We've already taken more transfers than we were allowed and are laying low hoping the feds don't notice.
From Dean:Kind of a dud of a day so far, eh? Yesterday seemed to be pretty constant.
Well buckle up, because I plan to beat this dead horse until it has decomposed & returned to the earth, then till up the soil and beat it some more. This is bordering on the 1620 guys schtick of "it's not your story to tell" whininess.
I think it's ran its course.
Didn't Dean report that RB wasn't a priority in the portal...? Or is that other's in the media? From Dean:
There are no visitors expected in Lincoln on Wednesday as Matt Rhule’s coaching staff resets and strategizes about which players in the next wave they plan to target. The defensive line and running back positions both still appear to be portal needs for the Huskers.
