IMO. It’s more like. Well I promised this guy to become a position coach too after year 1. But I royally fucked up by hiring Butler and making him try and run TWs 335. And so I hired this dude to fix the defense. And I’ve got to appease him before STs. So. Sorry Eck. I sure hope these other dudes can corch STs like you.

I remember when he committed that he was tall but skinny. I remember saying they would probably have to move him to WR eventually. Looks like he was a really good athlete in high school they must think at some point it will click for him in college?

I thought Rhule used to tell guys “I love you but it’s my job to recruit your competition” or something to that effect.

Now it’s “I love you guys, so let’s make a bet that running back is no longer an important position in college football”.

You don't need to reinvent the wheel in the Big Ten - Good Defense, OL, and RB. Apparently now scramble-y boi at QB that can throw. Special Teams that don't look like a monkey fucking a football. Done.

Usually he is a good communicator but he seems to be trying very hard to avoid explicitly saying that he doesn’t like Ekeler, and it’s coming out like gibberish.

Careful. You don't live inside his mind you can't possibly know anything about what he thinks by interpreting his actions. That's for negative types who just want Rhule to fail.
