That’s horse crap if true. I get where the transfer portal likely has some assistants pulling double duty between two schools, but what’s even the point of a playoff structure if the rules allow schools to be sabotaged in the middle of a playoff run?
What’s the point of a national championship if a staff would bail two games away from a chance at winning one just to chase a paycheck at a different school? (I get it may not be the individual coach’s choice to leave at this particular juncture, but still)
they moved their current DL coach to LB coach
That's short term thinking if they have bigger career aspirations. Who would hire these assholes if they bail on their team before the semis? (besides Lane)
Also playing for a national championship could potentially be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Easy to say when it’s not your family to support, but I’d be tempted to tell Lane to pound sand if he was truly making an ultimatum.
I think Fitzgerald is put together a very good staff. Max Bullough is a good addition plus others.
