Regardless of who Penn St brings at this point it has already caused a ton of division between players, alumni and boosters. So either they bring in a new coach and risk a mass exodus from the current players or keep Smith and risk losing NIL backing. It's fun to watch.

the simple fact they lost 28 commits turns this into a rebuild regardless of what they do at this point. They are going to have to load up on portal players and pray...definitely not where you want to be right now.

No we want them to hire Brian Callahan (Bills son), then after a few years they will fire him and hire their former DC Knowles, after several 9 and 10 win seasons they will fire him and hire an old overachiever in Matt Campbell, after 3 years and a final year of Bob Diaco as their DC they end up with whoever their version of Matt Rhule is.

Were Matt Campbell to get hired by PSU, it would not impact any dominoes of significance as ISU is not getting a notable replacement.

Therefore it would suck. I want more dominoes falling, chaos, and hurt feelings.
