And Gundy has always respected Nebraska. I'm not saying it's a lock to happen or anything, but I would not be shocked if he is in Lincoln in some capacity sooner than later.

Feels like they've been looking for a reason & are rushing to fire him after a bad loss before he has the chance to improve, because they know they can't get rid of him if he gets back to .500. Aren't there tensions between Gundy & the administration?

There’s going to be a small high quality pool of coaches the next few years that failed to adopt to nil and probably never will.
I highly doubt Gundys ego would allow him to take a small school offer and a lot won’t want an OC that hates nil. He’ll fit into a very highly paid position coach role … if he wants to work.

The Gundy news is actually terrible news. We now have to content with another rinky dink program with deep pockets like Texas Tech who will spend into infinity.
