Summerall and Golesh are both very good coaches. I would gladly take either if we had an opening.

I think they're good coaches. I don't know that either school started out with "man, maybe we can hire Alex Golesh if everything breaks right."

To be fair there was no huge home runs this cycle besides kiffin, and I’m not sold on kiffin tbh. All the top 5 coaches rn were G5 hc or coordinators idk why every so enamored with good not great P2 coaches.

I will tell you in 3-4 years. I like the Danny Kanell train of thought. Every coach is a C+ hire until they prove it at their new destination.

I think a lesson here is that coaching contracts need to put in buyouts that lower precipitously for leaving prior to the completion of the playoff assuming the team is in it
