The time to throw typically stops when the QB is flushed out of the pocket. It's basically "time before they throw, have to move, or get sacked"

Not 100%, but looking at the range of values on the x axis makes me think that has to be the case. Otherwise a couple of really long scrambles could completely skew the data and make it useless

No idea how they handle designed roll outs, though

Thats what makes me wonder. How do they differentiate between designed roll out and QB rolling out from pressure. Pressure doesn't always have to be heavy.

Most consistent way to do it is snap to throw.
