Like others said, refs had a big influence. On 2 plays alone we lost 115ish yards and a TD due to flags, one of which was absolutely not a flag. Play calling got a bit spotty too though for the first couple of drives and that killed momentum.

Really had the perception of sucking more than it actually sucked. It was a combination of things. We were a bit too conservative on the play calling. I think the plan going into the game was to not test their DBs down field....and up 28-0, we definitely were not going to give them the opportunity to make a big play, steal some momentum and potentially rattle Raiola. So Colorado loaded 9 in the box and we were content with that.

Even with that in mind, we still executed well enough, but some of the worst officiating I have seen took away plays that were there. Felt like 2010 again, getting screwed over by Big 12 officials.

I really believe that we went for almost 200 yards on that drive where we busted multiple big plays that got called back. Weirdest half of football I’ve seen.
