Coach Dan Lanning has agreed to a new contract with Oregon that will raise his average salary close to $11 million annually, a source confirmed to ESPN.

For some reason, I’m feeling like Lanning may not be a long term solution. Something about him makes me feel like this might be as good as it gets with him.

But he will always have money for talent, so maybe that will be enough.
