Saw a release from their BOR that they wrapped up all their interviews late yesterday? Wonder if this is coming out now to press a side to make a deal or if it's Hartline trying to raise his profile
I'd love to see him get a job anywhere else. Change the landscape of football. He's been the main man bringing in all this skill talent at OSU for so long. I'm also not convinced he's HC material. So he leaves, OSU goes down, and his new team doesn't exactly fill the void.

He's the highest paid position coach in the country - if he wasn't at his alma mater sitting in waiting for a potential HC opening there, I think he'd have already jumped.

Day doesn't really have the political capital to do that. It's more complicated than it looks with Hartline - there isn't a great comp out there for an assistant coach with that much goodwill
Wondering if... Hartline is leaking this in order to press the OSU brass to make a decision on Day??? Power play??
