AAC gigs are still great for non-power leagues if you can get them and he’s a northeast guy at heart. Think he will 2.5-3x his salary plus get a huge bump in assistant pool $ - and that’s saying something given Temple is one of the worst financially positioned schools in the AAC

These schools w low following and low NIL are going to be less and less of a destination for HCs.

Does UNC have good fan support and NIL for football though? Say what you want about Minnesota and having pro sports in town, but the football team is at least the biggest sport on campus.

The MN fans I know don’t seem to think Fleck is an imminent flight risk.

I texted my old roommate who’s a 2x alum and grew up there, he said he heard the same thing from his brother. He’s pretty apathetic about Fleck, doesn’t want him fired but not gonna cry about losing him either.

I was just texting my UNC buddy (he’s an alumnus whose family is very well connected at UNC)- their NIL situation is not great. Hes actually pretty frustrated with all of the rev sharing and NIL stuff because they’re behind and it’s impacting the hoops program (take a look at their upcoming recruiting classes… not great)
