No it’s not. Dana came in and held offensive players accountable and benched Fidone. The back end of the D was very very poor this year. I think this was the last year of that thankfully.

Guess my argument is more that the stable of guys behind Fidone were far, far more prepared to step in and play behind him than Gifford if we're using that example- who cost us the OSU game at least so I'm not saying he was even a good player.

Rahmir Stewart was behind him on the depth chart for Cockeye. Not a gifford fan but that drop off is pretty stark and i doubt he was as prepared to step in as Boerk or Lindemeyer were
