According to On3’s
Pete Nakos,
Florida State linebacker transfer
Omar Graham has two visits set. Graham is set to see a Big 12 program,
Kansas, and one in the Big Ten,
Nebraska. Two years of eligibility remain as Graham is looking to continue his college football career in the Midwest.
Florida State saw Graham be a starter for most of the 2024 season. Head coach
Mike Norvell will be losing some production in the middle of his defense via the
NCAA transfer portal. Kansas and Nebraska are hoping they can capitalize by gaining a linebacker with experience at a power conference level.
In three seasons at Florida State, Graham has logged 60 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, a sack, and three passes defended.
Prior to enrolling at Florida State, Graham was ranked as a three-star prospect and the No. 597 overall recruit in the
2022 recruiting class. He also checked in as the No. 61 linebacker in the class and the No. 82 overall player in the state of Florida, hailing from Fort Lauderdale (FL)
Stranahan.
Graham did spend three seasons in Tallahassee. Two years of eligibility remain due to taking a redshirt as a true freshman during the 2022 season. Even so, he was able to play in three games and get some game time under his belt.
There was a brief stint this past year where injuries were a problem. Florida State was without the linebacker against
Boston College and
Memphis after getting back from Ireland. Graham was thankfully able to play through the rest of the year completely healthy.
At the time of posting, Graham does not have a spot in the
On3 Transfer Portal Industry Rankings. Even so, Kansas and Nebraska are interested in having Graham call their campuses home for his final two years of eligibility.
