I’m gonna be honest, outside of Raiola, a small handful of linemen, Barney, and Ceyair Wright, I really don’t care who enters the portal.

Yes, not long ago, everyone was saying we need to purge the roster and start over. We ended up barely with 6 wins, I don't think to many are must keep guys.

a) coaching staff turnover
b) relatively small number of portal entries last year
c) need to cut roster numbers

Just thinking out loud. The way we are losing guys, why would Raiola hang around, unless this was planned? We had the lowest attrition in the country last year. If we wanted these guys to stay, they would.

good teams aren’t losing this amount of starters. They could trim fat with walk ons and other players who never see the field. Some of the guys leaving seems a bit odd.

Yes they are. Every team is losing starters. It's the way the game works anymore. Just as has been said literally every season since the portal started, it's not just a Nebraska thing.

Yeah I'm not ready to believe EJ is gone yet. Hes got way too much going his way right now for that to make sense.

100%. A good line, QB and receivers come first in today's game. Backs are easy to replace

Keep in mind none of the guys who Nebraska has lost were all conference and none are obvious NFL dudes. Onus is on Rhule to go find/develop some of those guys, but it's mostly whatever for me
