He had 22-23 snaps the last 5 games (didn't go beyond that), not even playing against Ioa ffs. And we rotated quite a bit in those games, less against Ioa due to limited overall snaps.

I didn't see anything from him, in 15 games, to excite me that he'd be a serious contributor. Compare him to VP playing 4 games this year where it was obvious of the (immediate) future potential.

One has to ask the question to why he's in the portal when the path ahead of him was cleared by Butler and Williams. Like maybe he loves Knighton, but he doesn't seem like a guy who is likely to end up in a comparable situation unless there is just a true scarcity of lineman in the portal who don't make you shit yourself when they play snaps in major conferences

Lowly rated juco who was part of the 2023 “triage” class as described by Rhule today. Going to wait to see who they get as far as transfers but not upset about him. Won’t be able to judge until after the xfers come in.

Yeah it's not just stats. I would have guessed he played a lot less. VP was noticeable when he was on the field.
