I will say I am not bullish on the RB room. I think it is a deep room, but I don't see an NFL talent there. Gabe is the one guy I could see potentially being that, but we need to see he play at that level.

I think Grant is an above average B1G RB who has supposedly improved a lot since last year.

I don't know how Ives or Emmett fit into the future of the program. They both seem too small to be B1G RBs. Maybe they fit in as 3rd down type backs similar to Rahmir?

I don't think they will be bad, but I think this is a high floor low ceiling room.

This is JMO, but I don't know why you would take any WR or RB that you think needs a RS year. I think there is plenty of talent in the portal there that if you need to supplement do it there.

You need to bring in WR and RBs who are ready to contribute early in their career. I am very excited about Lacy, but don't love we go from him to Ajay as the last RB I liked out of HS and Ajay is gone.

So I am with you on taking two, but I wouldn't hate if one was a Juco or Transfer kid either.

Whether it's RB or WR the most worrisome part of the offense is the lack of explosive play ability. Who threatens to take the top off of a defense? Who threatens to run away from a defense?

A lot of 12-14 play drives is a really tough model to sustain and be successful.

That is why Betts is a critical piece in my eyes.

Kemp is too small and I think more of an intermediate threat. Washington could, but wouldn't scare me if I am a DC and same could be said about IGC. Now you are into the Freshmen.

I also think that is why QB run game is going to be an important part of this offense.

We've seen so little of him. From the little we've seen him he has good burst and runs tough. Didn't see much elusiveness. Don't remember anything to say one way or the other on top end speed or passing game.

After Ozigbo our RB run game has been pretty meh. Some games here and there but mostly shit.

Mo Wash was fun to watch but more when he was catching the ball than handoffs. Of course you also didn't know if he was going to play.
