If our defense is good, our special teams improves (it can't get worse), and we focus on running the ball, then I think we win 6 games.

If we cut back on turnovers and we have an actual vertical passing game, then we win at least 8 games.

I mean I basically think both of those will happen to be honest. I think the longer Frost is in the Big 10, the more he's going to focus on running the ball and trying to establish an identity there. Then Omar and Toure will take care of a lot of the rest. 8-4 and I'm sticking to it and the Frost haters will be quiet for a few weeks

I think Minnesota wins the West. Best QB and RB in the division. Defense will be much-improved. PJ, like him or hate him, is a hell of a coach and he maximizes his teams' talent.

Cockeyes, Wiscy, NW battle it out for 2nd. I could see them all going 1-1 against each other.

We will go 5-7 or 6-6 and finish 5th in the West....the swing game for me is MSU. They were bad last year, but we will still be recovering from the beatdown in Norman. I could actually see a scenario where Frost heads into the Cockeyes game needing to win to keep his job secure.

Illinois - 6th If they upset us 1st game they'll finish 5th.
Purdue - 7th. I could see this being Brohm's last year. For $6M per year, Purdue isn't getting much in return. The revolving door at DC hasn't helped.
With all due respect

I get that Fitz is a great coach, but it's kind of crazy how much people moved up their floor based on last year. They were 1-8 in the B1G and 3-9 overall just two years ago.

I can't see them being better than 5th.

1a. Wisconsin (losses to Penn State and Notre Dame)
1b. Nebraska (losses to Oklahoma and OSU)
1c. Minnesota (loss to OSU)
4. Cockeye (losses to Indiana, Cockeye State, Penn State)
5. Northwestern
6. Purdue
7. Illinois

I think Big 10 West will be between Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

If Frost is who I/we hope he is, this is the year we beat Wisconsin and/or Cockeye. I'm not crazy, super worried about Minnesota to be honest. We know who they are.

Every season they have looks extremely similar in my opinion. There’s not much of a difference between 3-9 and 8-5 for them but a couple of bounces in critical moments. When they’re 8-5, those bounces go their way. When they’re 3-9, they don’t.
