A small vocal minority of the board is Team Sims, but they’re also the best posters so take that for what it’s worth

I'm assuming we portal in a QB this offseason & HH moves to TE/WR?

You would need at least 2 portal QBs, assuming Sims moves on, to get comfortable moving HH.
correct. I heard someone speculating that Sims isn't playing to preserve a grad transfer redshirt so he has two years of eligibility left. probably bull shit, but either way he's 100% gone. Haarberg should look around, too, likely at an FCS or lower level. Next year's starting QB is playing for a team not called DONU right now.

If either of them was smart they’d realize that WR/TE is basically their only shot of making an NFL roster. Sims especially.

It's just mind melting that between the two of them, neither can handle the football. The only difference is that Sims lost all his fumbles and mishandled snaps, whereas HH had a teammate, or himself, jump on his own fumbles. Cray pills.

Totally agree. It's pretty bonkers that they average about the same fumbles/quarter (I made that metric up and HH actually fumbles a bit more), but for whatever reason Haarberg's are almost always recovered by the good guys.

Clearly Sims is the better QB. If we want to win, we'd start the better QB.

The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that Sims threw the Colorado game on purpose and that's why the coaches have rolled with HH. Hell, we even had multiple former NU players rooting for Colorado in that game.
