I think 6 wins with only losses to Michigan and Wisconsin. Also, when was the last time we played Wisconsin at home? It always seems like we are playing them at their house vice ours. Whoever does our schedules need to be fired.
We played them at home last year if that means anything.

I initially thought 6 or 7 for them after CSU, but it will be a tough road for them and they have to stay healthy. They are lucky they avoid Washington.

They will probably unexpectedly drop one of Stanford, ASU, or Arizona and then unexpectedly beat one of UCLA, OSt or Wazzu to get to 3 more. Utah seems like a terrible match up, particularly in the last week of the season, and USC is just flat better everywhere. If Shedouer gets hurt, it will be an implosion.
Wazzou will toss their salad...that team is severely underrated.

Biggest concern is injuries. We are so banged up, unless the defense starts scoring we simply can’t lose anyone else. Running the qbs like we need makes me nervous.

I said 4, but realistically, it's probably 2 or 3. Purple Nerds and Big Drum Nerds are butthole bad. We should clown on those tools. Sparticus is in shambles, basically like da bears. There's three. I think we could beat Fat berts and Cockeye's offense is so putrid we've got a shot in that game.

Max of 5, in all reality, I think we beat both nerd schools and pick up one more between Sparty, Bat Berts, and the dipshits to the east...

1 more win left on the sched. Chances are fairly high that we lose to Northwestern. We'll surprise someone at some point during the season and grab a W that will surprise us.

We are officially 1/3 of the way through the 2023 season and, for better or worse, we have a pretty good idea now of the strengths and weaknesses of our favorite squad. So given what we know, make a prediction for how many games we win for the remainder of the season.

The rest of our schedule is as follows:

Michigan
@Illinois
NW
Purdue
@MSU
Maryland
@Wisconsin
Cockeye

Maybe I’m feeling a little rosy after 2 straight victories, but I could see us winning 3 more. Some combo of Illinois, NW, Purdue, MSU, and Maryland.
We can beat Illinois, NW, Purdue, and MSU. Will that happen? Only time will tell.

If Haarberg keeps getting more comfortable and getting better each week I think we do.
Gotta stay healthy

You are making the big assumption that Haarberg gets to play. I'm not so sure. Until Rhule stops downplaying Haarbergs play and making excuses for Sim's play I assume the worst.

Sims getting in for a play after HH helmet came off and him looking lost told me all I needed to know.

The only reason Rhule brings up both QB’s and doesn’t announce who is starting during the week is so the team we’re playing doesn’t know who to prepare for (even though they’re pretty damn similar lol).

It would be huge for Rhule if he could string together a few wins but a beatdown by Michigan followed by a loss to Illinois could really put a black cloud over this team.

On the other hand, play Michigan close and beat Illinois like you should and things could really turn around. All it takes is a little momentum/confidence. There's such a small margin this year between 4-8 and 7-4. The West is terrible once again, it's there for the taking 😩

downplaying haarbergs play? dude is completing like 45% of his passes against FCS competition lol. big ten schools aint gonna let him run down the middle of the field untouched

If we are a decent team we could make some hay.... I just have zero faith in our offense.

Man, I have seen this take a million times since Saturday and I've spoken with several coaches (including my cousin, the head coach at Wyoming) and all of them to a man said that you can tell that the issue was with the RB and not with the QB.

Shit, there were 3 or 4 instances of the same thing happening with HH in the game. There's plenty to get on Simms about, but this isn't one of them.
