More......welp this is stark.....a move to the portal is almost always a move down (granted it might be appropriate/intentional for many)......or based on the previous info....a move out of CFB. (the world needs ditch diggers, too, eh Judge Smails?)

i'd like to think that these college kids will learn that entering the portal doesn't guarantee an upward or even lateral move, but speaking from the perspective of a former college kid, college kids are dumb as fuck.

This is another point. Some of these guys have been kicked off their teams, for whatever reason, but in order to save face for everyone involved, they call it "BobbyLouie Jimmothy has entered entered the transfer portal".

Keeps rumors low. Doesn't really bring much attention since it's so common. Reputations don't get sullied much. It's a total prophylactic.

I think he put the CB in knowing that it is still going to be awhile before any actual decision is made.

Wowsa, amazing what happens when you hire qualified experienced Power5 Coaches. Busch & Mickey are gonna turn up the heat on recruiting, and hopefully the other Coaches learn how it is done at a Power5 Level. Busch was a dawg for us on the recruiting trail during his previous stop here.

And I might add that I have heard from one of his relatives that he is extremely happy to be coaching back in Lincoln. He's so excited. Also add that he wasn't that impressed when he first got here as an Analyst and may have had some doubts as to what he saw going on behind the scenes.

Yea, he's going to be taking some visits and good for him the kids been through a lot let him enjoy the whole experience.
