If you're talking about how Wilson could leave, the way the 48 hour rule seems to work is that it is business hours, so the deadline for schools to post portal filings is this coming Wednesday. But it would have had to have been in the school's hands last Friday.
I doubt he minds too much. He was already doing it. Hell he's also coached ST's.

Yeah, it sounds strange because the Sam's argument assumes ST is the only variable from 2024 to 2025. When you look at the fact the defense disintegrated in the last third of the 2025 season and the offense became one-dimensional because of a QB injury, then it sounds more like the ST improvement played a major role in preventing a worse record in 2025. That argument would be stronger, though, if we had won a game other than UCLA (that win wasn't tied to ST play I don't think.)

I don’t think he’s wrong in saying that getting the DC right is more important overall than ST.
He’s definitely not wrong about defense being of higher importance than special teams. What he is wrong about is having to choose between the two.
Unlimited assistants and budget for it so again makes no sense what Rhule is saying.
Rob was once a STC maybe Rhule thinks he could help with that too.
