This is a good, low risk pickup. I’d imagine we’re not paying him much, he’ll obviously be fine with sitting for a bit. If he’s good with sitting and staying for a few years, he could turn into something.

He’s got a lot of the stuff you can’t teach. If you can get him to stay long enough to work on some of the stuff you can teach, he could end up ok. Lowly enough ranked that he’s not gonna get any traction in the portal without putting some college action on film, which might give us time to develop him.

In today’s day and age, your highschool recruits need to be either:
1. Good enough to contribute right away
2. Bad enough and with enough potential you can afford to sit them for a few years.

Anything in between results in a transfer within 2 years about 70-80% of the time.
