1. We gave him a lower offer that we told him would persist if he wanted to come back. Those better offers weren’t out there.

FIFY. Both can and probably are true. We probably didn't guarantee a return (we were trying to create spots for upgrades), but it worked out the spot was still open.
Now do Keona Davis
I don't think he's in there yet, but would be nice if he announced he was staying because outside of the Pitt DT, the other DL options seem lackluster
since enrollment ends the 20th, that's good. It assures that anyone not on Miami or Indiana who wants to transfer will be in while we can still get them.

I believe that you just have to enter the portal before the window closes, but can actually transfer any time
This is correct. To participate in spring practice, though, you need to be enrolled for the spring semester.
That is the wiggle room. Classes start tomorrow. (fixed my earlier post)
Yeah. But a school will allow late enrollees after the 20th if rhules tells them to.
Classes don’t really matter at this point in college football.
