I was already sold, you don't have to sweeten the dealAs long as you’re cool never seeing your wife and kids
Convenient argument to remove the only game where he was the #1 back to prove your point because it doesn't fit your narrative. Because in that game you could see a back who did a really good job of hitting the holes decisively. Alas, I'll provide my argument with the entire scope of the season.Nelson had 15 carries for 59 yards prior to the Utah game. I would need a really good explanation from the coaches why they feel good going into next year when they didn't trust him enough to give him more than 1.25 carries per game.
That’s kinda rude, what did Busters wife and kids ever do to you?I was already sold, you don't have to sweeten the deal

I didn't remove that game to fit the narrative. I don't take much away from bowl games anymore.Convenient argument to remove the only game where he was the #1 back to prove your point because it doesn't fit your narrative. Nelson was purposefully not used for a not insignificant portion of the season due to internal issues, not football. Ives was hurt and Mozee had just converted to RB from WR. They leaned heavily on EJ because of this and he was doing well. I can remember a few games where there was a lot of frustration that EJ didn't get enough carries to try to establish a real rushing attack early in the season. This would imply that having a #2 back get significant carries was unnecessary.
Then when DR went down and it was obvious that LaQueef was terrible, you had to lean on EJ because you were not able to develop an established #2 while establishing your #1. Turns out that you never had to go to your #2.
I personally, think EJ is OVERVALUED. I think he ran incredibly hard and was tough to bring down. I think he did a good job. I also know he left a lot of yards on the field due to his vision. He would often cut back into defenders rather than to the open field. I also think that the offensive line was an extremely good group in run blocking. I do NOT think that a RsFr would be as durable as a Jr, so I do not think that a RB room void of EJ would have been as effective last season.
I literally expect ZERO people to agree with me on this. I'm not against bringing in a RB, but I don't think it's imperative as most do.

They must want more CBs. Cooper brought in a shit ton of project DBs but not many CBs.Not to complain but haven’t we signed like 80 DB hs projects that should be panning out soonish? I’ll hang up and listen.
FIU bio says 6'1 180. Hopefully that's more accurate.160lbs as a jr?! I hope that's incorrect

I have been pretty critical of our staff on the portal. I am not happy with what they are doing on the DL and how it didn't seem until recently they were even thinking RB was a need.Ahh yes a sophomore rb this past year that’s basically just a copy paste version of Mozee.
