Playoff Games Thread

WTF is Nebraska doing for strength and conditioning? Our players look like 8th grade 8 man players compared to these teams? Do we have a single dude on the team that looks like the D ends from Oregon or Tech? Indiana and Miami's dline makes ours look like a fucking intermural squad from Wayne State.

Seriously though, what improvements has Campbell made with our players. Hes had 3 years and I don't see any noticeable size, speed or strength improvements at all. Start feeding these boys steroids if we can't do anything else.

Yeah, this is obvious, but not really in play when discussing OU. Bama shouldn’t have gotten in, they were/are terrible and didn’t/don’t belong.

Utah was a 2 loss team that didn’t play in their CCG. What’s the difference? The difference is where OU was ranked pre-season and and their conference wins are over valued by the media and pollsters.(same people)

Why is it perfectly ok to leave out Utah but there is “absolutely no justification” to leaving out Oklahoma? Once you stop giving the SEC the benefit of the doubt there is very little difference (if any) between OU and Utah.

There's two sides of this. Who are the best teams and who is most desrrving to get in.

I do think on paper BYU has an argument but The clear best team in the Big 12 that beat them by like 30 twice just got curb stomped by the 3rd best B1G.

Notre Dame the only real argument.

I talked loads of shit about Indiana last year. Didn't make that mistake this year. They're really good.

Oregon/Indiana will be a really good game and so will Georgia vs Indiana/Oregon.

Nebraska sucking sucks but otherwise this is a really good year for college football.
I could see Miami beating Georgia or Ole Miss.

IDK you can also make an argument for Duke if you believe all P4 champs should get an auto bid regardless of AP ranking. 5 losses is rough though, but they probably would’ve faired better than OU and Bama from what my eyes are telling me.

Possible. First off I can't see a Universe where Ole Miss wins. I think Georgia will wear that Miami d line down over the game and run down their throat 2nd half.

Ole Miss somehow beats Georgia I could see Miami winning that game.

Yeah, like I said I’m well aware of the SEC Ponzi scheme.

I’m simply saying based on the committee rankings throughout the process there was no justifiable reason to leave out OU.

I don't have a problem with Duke replacing JM or Tulane. They would have got raped by OU/Bama.

Agree on Notre Dame but will never sympathize with them. Pulled the whiny bitch card when they didn’t get in. And getting gifted going forward by playoff committee

I think we’re pretty much saying the same thing. Cause yes, at 10-2 and No.8-9 in the polls you had no choice but to put them in. But I don’t think they should’ve ever been ranked no.8 (or whatever their final ranking was)

Well beings they would’ve likely been on the road in either match up, likely. As far as Tulane and JMU are concerned give me anybody. I know they have to let 1 in to avoid anti-trust violations. But those teams are stealing spots. They’re never gonna win a game, or probably even come close.

I think Georgia is better than Ole Miss, but they aren’t this super team. You never know maybe Georgia turns the ball over a few times. It’s not like Ole Miss is a complete weakling either. I also think Miami is as talented as Georgia. I could see Kirby getting in Beck’s head though. I really don’t trust him, but when you have a d line and badass rb like Miami they have a chance.

I absolutely do not trust a Carson Becht against a Kirby Smart defense. Bad match up for Miami IMO.

Utah would’ve got their ass kicked by Miami or Oklahoma or Notre Dame. Gave up over 750 yards rushing to Kansas & Kstate. Not surprised our OL & shitty RBs couldn’t do anything, especially with how Lateef looked.

The big 12 has so much variation from week to week, not cuz equal parity but lack of money. The gap is going to widen & Cockeye state has already lost a coach cuz they’re realizing the issues they’re facing with shared revenue & NIL.
