This is such a hard concept for people who don’t understand defense to grasp, but spot on.
Now I will say even when our front did what it was supposed to, we didn’t always make the right run fit or…..tackle….so that’s a problem, but it’s kind of hard to do either when you’re getting blasted five yards past the LOS by a 300lb guard.
Merrit is going to be good. I also like Rodgers. Still not sure on Ochoa or McGahee, but we’ll see.

I wouldn't get too attached to McGahee. I'm shocked that he hasn't already announced that he is entering the portal
Ochoa is a 4-5 stringer once maxed out. Over room has depth and B1G starter issues heading into year four. Dov has gotten beat for every regional LBer they’ve been after every year. Shavers & McGahee where both Simpson recruits. Merritt Rhule has to pull. He’s done nothing to justify keeping him in his role. He should be moved back to assistant to a legit LB coach who can execute in coaching and recruiting now until he’s ready.
Yeah, he’s gonzo, but hasn’t announced yet.
I haven’t seen enough of him to say. Ochoa I mean. As far as Dusty goes, I haven’t seen anything that will make me scream for his retention.
