On the merits sure but you can’t hold out bama last year to not punish conference title game losers then push em out this year for losing in it.
His experience on 2023 bama is his only point of comparison to the SEC.

It’s a tournament. The season is a tournament that feeds into the final tournament. All data points matter. Saying a team that was a borderline playoff team, and according to the committee the fifth best team in the conference, gets to stay in when they just got ass raped ignores key data points. In reality it should have been an elimination game for them. Let someone else get a chance in the tournament who hasn’t lost to FSU or just got worked by 21 points.

It is ironic watching all the Bama fans argued that it being a ccg didn’t mean anything for SMU last year but it does this year I agree. My problem would be if they switched up their logic year to year and the same team on the wrong side of it it’s pretty fucked.
