If Rhule lets Ek leave/or fires him, then Rhule needs gone ASAP.
Ekeler is the only guy on staff who has earned the right to interview for HC if this all blows up. Even tho hes probably not a HC, hes the only guy i trust to give it a shot.

I’m not sure I have a strong opinion on him. However, I felt like WR blocking this year improved quite a bit. Using my eyes, I was mostly impressed by the receivers. Thought Key would be better.
Not sure if the lack of production late in the year was on the receivers or OL and QB. I can’t tell if they’re getting separation or are open when watching on tv.

Interesting thing I noticed when I was checking social media for some portal follows…both Barthel and Bradden appear to have recently started following Jamarcus Shephard on Twitter. Shephard was just announced as Oregon State’s new HC. Trying to find a new landing spot? 🤔

I understand where you are coming from here, but my issue is that he started Ervin and Dowdell over EJ. It took Holgerson getting hired here to force them to play EJ full time.
I thinks it’s because most view him as untouchable to Rhule.

I think that’s a good argument but my rebuttal would be: why is an inexperienced guy like that learning on the job at Nebraska? In the B1G conference?
He has also done absolutely nothing in recruiting. Crickets.
Guy seems to be in over his head. Wouldn’t be surprised if he goes back to the nfl

I had a convo with Bradden. His main focus was getting the dline better at stopping the run. That was about week 3 or 4. I saw it regress over the year. A bit unfortunate as he was a very personable guy that I could see doing well at recruiting long term.

They didn't look particularly well coached iwbh. The Gabe Moore nugs were pretty damning. RVP, Lendhart, Jeudy, Nwaneri, Davis were all very highly regarded players before coming to NU - I feel like the chances that they all turned into dogshit highly unlikely.
Lendhart confuses me.
How does he never play? Good freshman season.

D Coordinator: Blake Baker. He's the D coordinator at LSU right now. They poached him from Missouri. He runs a 4-2-5 base and mixes in a 4-3. If this is the only move Rhule made, I'd be happy.
