Omaha (OMA) Airport Updates

So I've got to fly out of there on Tuesday to Dallas on Delta for work. Have to bring my clubs, so I'll have to check a bag. Anyone that's flown recently with all of the construction have any tips? I thought I heard that the terminal is basically split in half and you can't get from one side to the other.
You’ll be in the south side of the terminal, so you’ll want to park in the south garage if you’re doing garage parking.

Yeah I think parking is really the major issue. If you park in the correct part of the garage then it’s not bad.

Recent trip I forgot that I was on Delta instead of United as usual. That was a long walk from the north garage roof.

OMA gets a new direct flight on Allegiant to Gulf Shores, AL

OMA with directs to BOTH Destin, Fla & Gulf Shores
I don’t hate that
The $120 RT pp I paid to take the family to Destin last summer, I thought, was $ well spent
Although a tourist trap, those beaches are beautiful & was an awesome weekend getaway on the cheap

Pretty sure AA flies direct to LAX 2x/daily on AA6479 and AA4906

Also LNK is getting a direct route to SNA on Breeze starting April of next year
Thanks for the AA info. I’ve always flown either United or Delta, and United lost its daily direct flight to LAX during covid.

However, WTF is Breeze?
Why would anyone go to LA for any logical reason?
To visit their parents/grandparents and extended family. Or just to see a bunch of cool stuff. You’ve never been to LA?

Newer budget airline. Their website says Lincoln to Orlando starting 12/10/2025 and Lincoln to Vegas and Lincoln to John Wayne 4/8/2026. All those routes only have Wednesday and Saturday flights.
