I was seven years old and can still remember my Dad going crazy when they punt went over the Miami punters head. And then running around with my siblings after we won.

Since we are likely to win another nattie next year or the year after, I figure it’s a good time to relive these old championships to prime ourselves for what is to come.

I was in utter disbelief. After getting absolutely hosed by the refs the previous year, and losing so many consecutive bowl games, it felt like a hill we'd never get to the top of, and the game was an uphill slog until the 4th quarter. I can still remember Kent Pavelka's call of Kareem Moss's game-clinching interception.

Everyone was so excited and wanted to share the experience (the internet wasn't a real-time mass interaction place yet), so everyone got in their cars and started driving around. I was in the back seat hanging out the window with a Husker flag & waving at everyone we passed.

72nd & Dodge just sort of happened organically because so many people were driving around, then more and more people started getting out to stay there. So much fun.

Was my first year living in Nebraska. I was 8 and we were watching at the house of my dad’s colleague. They had a big screen tv and they gave us nerf dart guns to shoot at the Miami players.

I was 7 and my dad was parting all night

I was 6. One of my first Husker memories. Watched the game in the living room with my family. Over the next few years I grew up thinking winning natties was normal.

It’s been Downhill from there. I’m 36 now and I can only pray we get one more before I die.

I was 15, watching at home. It was such a fun night with about 25 family and friends.

I celebrated later that night with multiple viewings of Skinemax.

9 years old.

Remember my parents being dejected in first half when we trailed as they had seen that song and dance so many times before up until that point.

I was about to get out of the Marines. My staff Sgt kept talking all kinds of shit too about Nebraska. Loved watching him eat them words as I laughed in his face
