I think he's still a good coach. Kinda tough for your LBers to make plays when the defensive line can't hold the line at the line.
Also can't hold it against Bradden. It is his first year, so tough to say one way or the other.
With that said, use the transfer portal with some NIL money and get some running stopping NG's/DTs.

It’s easier said than done on the portal part. A lot of teams are looking for those badass d lineman. We either have to develop them or probably overspend.

Our young D lineman will get bigger and stronger, they play with great effort, the results are what they are right now. We have to live with it right now but I do believe it will get better in the future. Go Huskers.

I get sort of triggered by the term "overspend". Guys get paid what the market says they are worth. You only overspend if your evaluation sucked and they suck.

I've been a defender of JoBu for most of the year. Our defense has at least played to their talent level when looking at the entirety of the season.
I have no idea what he was trying to do tonight. The leaky zone coverage and 3 man front he ran most of the first half was just head scratching.

I think Butler has done well this year but there are some significant issues in run defense. Angles are poor and tackling looks like it’s taken a step back this year. This team cannot defend counter run game.
I’ve always thought you can be good at one thing at a time defensively, unless you’re elite, because you have to play a numbers game to gain an advantage. I’m not entirely sure what the deal was tonight as I kinda halfassed my watch but I felt like there was a serious lack of composure.

Because the DC (and the OC fit that matter) are micromanaged by the HC to a stifling degree. Until there’s a change in HC, it won’t matter who the DC is.
