Not to rain on Mr. Johnson's parade, but the play gained 3+ yards and set up third and inches.
Probably shouldn't call for a coach's head based on a player's facial expression.

I'm going to preface this with Salter hasn't been good, but it's amazing that a staff that has been around football as long as CUs has thinks playing QB roulette is a worthwhile exercise

I think Salter would look much better under a competent staff. I would take him.

Appears as though CU's staff is constantly playing head games with the QBs.

Yeah Salter has a much better track record than what he's shown. The management of him has been insane

The fact that these guys thought any qb would be plug and play says as much about their coaching prowess as their records

This is a high school coaching staff. They would ruin lamar jackson

Goes to show how truly committed the Buff ‘fans’ are to the experiment of dumb Deion and his crew. Good thing Colorado is good at other collegiate sports…

What was always baffling to me, is that people truly thought he was a good coach when pretty much everyone could see that him having his son Shadeur and the ability to have Travis Hunter follow him wherever made his teams good. Once his son wasn't QB or he didn't have a Heisman player following him, he's worse than Scott Frost as a coach. He's not willing to put in the work, he acted like you should be grateful to meet him on recruiting visits, crazy.

We have a current player on our roster that went out there for a visit when they were good and he said there wasn't a big enough tent for the circus going on out there.

Yeah, his only path to success was being able to bring in a continual stream of elite athletes (mostly at WR/CB) because of his celebrity & his own athletic success there, while his assistant coaches did 95% of the heavy lifting, and the fundamental team flaws were able to be compensated for by the dynamic play-making.

There have been successful (for a while) circuses before, but Deion alienated way too many people, had an average group of assistants, and no structure in place to replace what they'd be missing as soon as the 2 dudes their success revolved around were gone.

I don’t blame CU for hiring him though. They had been absolute shit and needed to do something. The rolled the dice and got a Heisman trophy out of it at least.
When he bails half the roster will be gone. They'll be starting from scratch anyway. They're broke. They're fucked.

Gotta love it.

The only skill guys that came to help him were only going there when his son was there. They knew Deion was going to sling that thing around everywhere, not really care about defense, and they were going to get their numbers.
