I don’t think CU can amicably part ways with Deion unless he wants to leave. He’s going to use the race card and the national media will demonize CU.
Well, yeah. But don't you think Deion wants the hell out of that mess (that he created)? I am surprise he is still there this year.

Not sure. $10mm+ in salary not including all the endorsements, not having to recruit or do much is a pretty lucrative and low effort gig.

All those endorsements aren't going anywhere if he quits coaching. And he'll make big bucks in a TV studio set for someone. Talk about lucrative and low effort. And he won't be seen as an embaressment or a loser, like he is becoming(/is) at Colorado.

No way can Colorado fire him. Still think he will step away for "health" reasons at the end of the season or late in the season.
