Boys from Oklahoma - Memorial Stadium

First concert when I was 21 was Cross Canadian Ragweed many moons ago. This would be awesome

Will be sick but that seems like a pretty big venue for CCR (the good one)??

They sold out Boone Pickens stadium 4 nights in a row this spring. Not too big. They will likely have to add dates.
Unlikely they add a second date here and that is/was also a hometownish concert for them

No complaining just suprised. Now add Whiskey Myers to the lineup and take my money

Whiskey puts on such a good show.

I was surprised to see Cody Jinks on this lineup.

It has never worked out for me to see Cody Jinks, excited that he’s a part of it. Will pay whatever to see CCR.

Love this…registered. This will definitely sell out.

Interesting! I'm glad they're doing more events in the stadium because it's cool, but I have never heard of a single one of these bands in my life. Are they really big enough to sell 80,000 tickets??

Yes. It will sell out in no time. The last one in Stillwater sold almost 200,000 tickets for 4 days worth of shows in a very similar lineup. People came from all over the country to see it. I drove over 5 hours to see it. Couldn't get a hotel in Stillwater that weekend. It was absolutely insane and a blast.

Went to this last spring in Stillwater...go and enjoy it. Best concert I have been to in a long, long time.

Cross Canadian was my first concert...2001 or 2002 in Stephenville, TX, Lone Star Arena.

Turnpike is now a better show than Cross Canadian but the nostalgia for me was so awesome. My wife didn't really know who Cross Canadian was before the concert. She enjoyed it but thought Cody Canada talked too much.

This is surprising to me. I went through a phase where I loved CCR in college/right after but let’s be honest, they were never a massive band and they haven’t put out any new music in over 15 years.

I get the sentimentality but it’s not like their songs are incredible. I mean, they have 382k monthly listeners on Spotify. A couple weeks ago I watched a band with twice as many as that play at Sokol in Omaha. I really can’t imagine CCR is that big of a draw, but maybe I’m just out of touch with how Gen X consumes their music.

The Troubadours are the big draw. When their lead singer dried up and came back, they blew up. I thought newest album was really good too.

Me reading CCR and realizing it doesn't mean Creedence Clearwater Revival:
