The money is there. But the will to spend it on 18-20 year olds is not. Our major donors (and other wealthy non-donating Nebraskans) have the money, they’re just principled to a fault.

Seems like Rhule is working this through the media just like he did when we were after DR and he said in a press conference QBs are $1mm+ (or whatever the number was) per year so if we want a QB time to pay up. It’s unfortunate this hasn't been addressed.

No, they don’t like idea of their money going to either HS recruits or transfers, college football players. And keep in mind, we’re in a better position NIL wise than 70+% of D1 teams. But that’s not good enough if you want to be a top 10-15 team, a playoff team. Not good enough at Nebraska.
