And so it begins...(tracking Coach Prime decommits/transfers)

He looks pretty much exactly like the player he was in college. Still trying to do too much sometimes while escaping the pocket and holding onto the ball, but his throws are accurate and he mostly protects the football.
The unnecessary negative plays will be what kills him. Could have taken a sack on the opposing teams 27 yard line for a turnover on downs, but chose to run back to his 49. That shit only flies when your dad makes you unbenchable

These are the things that lead me to believe the rumors of the massive gay orgies others have mentioned may be closer to the truth than just the regular gay stuff.

So Colorado's over/under is 6.5, I think that is a game high and would put it at 5.5. I don't know if they will make a bowl or not, hoping for 5 or fewer wins, but can see 6 as well.

Turnover:

QB - Sanders gone, Salter and Lewis are new

WR - Hunter, Sheppard, Wester, Horn all gone, return two Millers and brought in transfers Brown from USF could be good

RB - Augustave transferred, Offerdahl retired. Welch and Hayden still there

OL - Seaton is back, but looks like all the rest will be new, Houston and Brown are back but they sucked and are buried on depth chart. Once again it is pretty much a completely new OL

DL - Green, Cokes, Nwankwo all gone, Walker is back but like the OL pretty much all new

LB - Bently gone, Transfers in

DB - Hunter gone, Silmon-Craig gone, Hood transferred to Tennessee, Sanders gone. Stoutmire, McKinney and Hodge return

Like every year under Sanders, a whole lot of new faces that have to learn to play together. I think it is going to be a rough season for them without Sanders, Hunter, Wester, Augustave the offense is going to struggle mightily, Silmon-Craig will be a loss on the defense and the DL which was starting to play pretty good is being rebuilt again. Hopefully with a little luck, they will look and play like crap.

I'm drinking the kool-aid and going 5-7 for them.

5-7 seems like they would be overachieving IMO. The only reason why their win total is at where it's at is not because of the quality of their team, but because fools buy into the Deion hype. Colorado is a poor team.

Well, at least they have that going for them. TBD if the other positions can see similar improvement.
LOL, I was going to say that is addition by subtraction. Their defense played a lot better when he was on the bench and Stoutmire played.

Speaking of Shilo, doesn't his NFL career end in a week? Wonder if they will try and spin that somehow?

I think they have the weapons to win some barnburners and make a bowl. Salter is an upgrade at QB given how bad their line play is

I kind of like what they have on the DL? Having what's probably a middle of the SEC DL in the Big 12 is a huge advantage

Really looking forward to seeing how they handle tech. That's probably the best QB on their schedule and tech would probably win the Big 12 this year. If its a 3 score game I'd be shocked if Deion finishes the year

Just looked him up. Sounds like he has a golden opportunity to make the team because the Bucaneers have been decimated by injuries at safety, but given the chance... turns out he sucks.

Shilo Sanders is struggling right when the Buccaneers need him most

Shilo Sanders had a chance to shine for the Buccaneers but but fell short against the Steelers.
ByJosh Crysler|Aug 17, 2025

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers need someone to emerge at the safety spot and ease concerns about the thin depth at the position.

Antoine Winfield Jr. is dealing with hamstring tightness, and while he’s only being held out as a precaution, it’s still a cause for concern after he missed eight games in 2024 due to injuries.

Marcus Banks, another safety competing for a roster spot, was waived recently with an injury settlement.

Standout rookie defensive back J.J. Roberts, who was firmly expected to earn a roster spot and beat Sanders for a depth spot at safety, will miss the entirety of the 2025 season due to a knee injury he suffered in joint practice against the Steelers.

Christian Izien, Tampa Bay’s most versatile defender who can play both safety spots as well as nickel cornerback, went down with an oblique injury in Saturday’s preseason game against Pittsburgh, and the timetable for his return is currently unknown.

Long story short, the Buccaneers’ safety room is thin, and the injuries piling up was supposed to open the door for Shilo Sanders to earn a roster spot as a depth piece, but he failed to make the impact he needed to in the preseason game against the Steelers.

Shilo Sanders struggles to stand out in Buccaneers safety competition

Against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Sanders totaled just two tackles. He also missed two tackles, and failed to make any plays in coverage.

Kaevon Merriweather, who Sanders is competing with for a roster spot, totaled 4 tackles.

The other competitor in the safety room, Rashad Wisdom, also had two tackles and added a pass broken up.

Last week in his NFL debut against the Tennessee Titans, Sanders at least made his presence felt with some hard hits. On Saturday, his missed tackles are where Sanders made the most noise.

Time is running out on Sanders if he wants to earn a spot on the 53-man roster. If he doesn’t, Sanders is a likely candidate to earn a spot on the Buccaneers practice squad where he can continue to develop and potentially get called up to the active roster if the depth situation demands it.

Tech better win the Big 12 this year or they're going to have some pissed off donors.

Deion going all Scott Frost about hoodies while also wearing a hoodie.

To be fair, I think what he meant was that they're not allowed to have their hood up on their head in class.

Don't understand why they aren't allowed to wear slides, though. They're college kids, let them be comfortable.

I like a lot of what Sanders does as a coach, there is also an awful lot that I don't like and that I think will fail. I don't hate Sanders, don't care for his kids or for the mindless Sanders' fans though.
Agreed. I think I'd like him a lot more if his kids weren't scumbags that he has covered for and uses bible verses to cover his and his kids tracks. There is a lot to like and I used to love the guy.
