Way to commit…Thing is, dude needs to crack the tops three by August 27 at 4pm (53 man roster cut day). Could he jump a spot? Possibly, but I wouldn’t bet on it (apparently you won’t either).

My guess is they'll keep 4 QBs. If we believe there is a world where Sanders or Gabriel turn into reasonable NFL QBs, it ain't gonna involve playing a lot this season. If Flacco gets hurt/can't go might as well let Pickett drive the tank

They've got 4 very favorable (to the team) contracts, but are you taking a roster spot away from someone likely to play multiple games & giving it to a 4th qb just to control their contract for next year & hope that someone who couldn't beat out 1 of the other 3 can develop into a legit contributor?
IMO, it's 90% chance they cut one, and it'll either be Pickett because he's only got 1 potential year left on a club option, or else whichever rookie is lower on the depth chart on cut day.

Pickett didn’t light it up in Pittsburgh, but no way in hell I go into the regular season with Flaco, Gabriel and Shedildo as my QB room.

I would agree if you’re including Deshaun on IR…which still puts SS on the outs. He could make the team, but as I said earlier, wouldn’t bet on it.

I am not. I don't think it's a lock Sanders makes the roster by any stretch but you also have to price in that it's the Browns, imo
