So lets say, theoretically, AE followed up on the "great jeans (genes)" line of advertising with a smoking hot black, latina, asian, would that insult everyone as well. Sorry, still kind of lost in all this. I'm an old, white, curmudgeon, admittedly, though. Probably my problem.
No - we both know that would not insult anyone. The fact that she is white is the critical factor, because the nazis were white. (The people who fought the nazis were also white, but this can be ignored.)

It isn't your problem. It's their problem because of their gigantic inferiority complexes. If certain people aren't being catered to 100% of the time, they start having "anxiety" or whatever other bullshit term they are using now. The whole thing is ridiculous.
If AE was smart, they would've released multiple ads simultaneously with hot women of different races. But these companies aren't smart.
