Speaking of TV, after he's done with the Aflac stuff, he oughta try out for the big bird spot. Already got the toes for it, and he's a big, goofy, yellow (cowardly) fella.
He better make sure they don't go 4-8 this yr. I'm not following them at all since we don't play them, I'm just assuming that's a possibility.
He loses a bit of shine going to FOX after a 4-8 season IMHO.
I'm not sure why he didn't just bounce after their bowl game. That would have freed him up to go to Shedildo and or Hunters NFL games as well. Seems like Deion would have much preferred that life for 2025. Who the fuck wants to be CU FB HC this year? No one gives a fuck about them.
Ha. I don’t know about that. (Almost) every coach on TV is there because they got fired. Coaches don’t volunteer for the gig. A TV commentator who went 4-8 in his final season would hardly be breaking new ground.

If they go 4-8 this yr that makes Deion's record at CU 17-20. And probably sets up CU to go 3-9 in 2027 with his successor.
I don't mind these shows bringing on fired coaches. They just usually don't glaze over the fired guy - they're usually pretty low key about any superlatives since the guy failed at his last job.
I got no problem with Deion on FOX - he's actually quite good at TV. I do have a problem with them referring to him as a GOAT rebuilder or some type of Nick Saban Jr.
Now if CU goes 10-3 this yr I'll eat my words.

I agree, Really though he'd leave before this season, think it's a mistake not to especially with the medical excuse already built in. He can make good money doing a pod cast/tv gig, but that will go down some if he goes 4-8 and then quits. Then he isn't a HOF player and a great rebuilder and just a HOF player and celebrity, he loses a lot of credibility with a losing season, which I think is likely.
