on 3 dropped Mataalii Benjamin and Luke Sorensen from 6/6 OVs today. I am guessing a lineman committed (meaning we didn't need Benjamin to visit) and Sorensen has decided he is either taking the ND or PSU offer.

They also dropped Jabari Brady, so I am thinking we have a WR set as well (on the pessimistic side, he could also have decided to stay in Florida, but we can't be taking a lot of WRs this year and I think we liked Jayden Warren better)

In the last 3 or so hours he booked an OV with PSU and then USC. Seems like something happened. You'll think I am crazy, but maybe we made a push in another direction.

He booked his OV with Nebraska April 1. He has visited Nebraska more than anywhere else, but his other three visits are pre-Bradden.

Since Davis booked his OV, Nebraska made a major push for Valdin Sone. He visited 4/23 - Sone's last visit anywhere. Bradden went to Sweden to meet his family mid-month. He obviously wants Sone.

Yes, we don't have an OV set up with Sone (he has two scheduled so far, OU and Florida) and for this theory to have legs, we will have to see one get booked soon.

Sone is 6-3.5, 320, 4.55 40. Davis is 6-4, 265. Sone physically seems like he could play as a freshman. We aren't likely to take a lot of DL; we have quite a few with four years of eligibility right now: Tyson Terry, Malcom Simpson, Kade Pietrzak, Ashton Murphy, David Hoffken, Williams Nwaneri, Landen Davison. Sone is "more different" from those guys than Davis is. Only RVP has Sone's size. There are 18 DL on the roster, only Jeudy graduates from this fall's room.

To me this feels like it may be a brand-new AC changing gears to use the spot on what he thinks is a bigger need and maybe a bigger impact player.
Could help close the deal on Sone as we'll be able to tell him he is the only DL in our class. I believe Florida and OU won't be able to say that.

Sone is a good get a true DT that and moves like a DE, and they have gone all out to get him.

Took him long enough Jesus
Pretty good score in football

With limited high level targets it seems odd but who knows.
