I dunno what would be better tbh. If you did straight single elim then you run the risk of one of your top 4 teams hurting their postseason chances by having a bad day.

This is at least a way to limit a team from playing 6 games in a weekend right before the playoffs

So if I’m thinking about this right. If we lose to Michigan state and Oregon beats Michigan state were eliminated right? Since if all teams are 1-1 the highest seed advances?
