No inside info, but you could tell that everyone hates playing with him. He just seemed like a dick out there...

So many times throughout the year we would make a boneheaded play and he was always complaining to someone else about them not being in the right spot or making the right pass. He was always pointing the finger to someone else. Easily my least favorite Husker in recent memory. Glad he is gone...
Alonso Verge is up there

Verge could be frustrating too, but at least he had upside and could score it. Worster couldn't score it, didn't make his teammates better and played adequate defense. Pairing him Hoiberg out there made it so hard to score...
beavis and butthead GIF

UCF/Villanova are way faster and more athletic, but very undeveloped and dumb.
If we play our defense and slow the process down then we're good. I've seen no strategy or concepts from these two teams. Hopefully we play our game tomorrow or we will get wore out and fall behind.

$300,000 for the winner (a team of 17 players) is peanuts. Unless I missed your sarcasm, which is likely, what team is gonna tank to split up $300K?

@Cowboy Kermit some of our guys had NCAA tournament bonuses - is there any truth to this?
Don’t have a good answer on this

Regardless of the outcome of this game, it's obvious to me Worster was the problem this season.

Something happened at some point in 2025 and curious if anyone has the skinny.

@Cowboy Kermit
Well, he was playing on one good foot from January on. That’s about all I know.
